Abstract Drawings

I may not a great painter (yet) but according to my own intrepretation on my own painting, I think I'm obsessed over swirling and curvy lines.

However, about the painting of the tree, the blue hue represents sky, the yellow dots represent stars and the black swirling lines represent air. I have no idea why I drew that.

And the drawing above the tree painting is actually something random and somehow it reflects on who I am. I like vibrant colours (fyi, my favourite colour is turqoise), I like butterflies and spiders. My passion is art and guitar is something I'm new with and truly in love with. The swirling lines indicate that I'm not an organised person, I prefer things to be spontaneous and out of routine.

Well, that's all you need to know about me!! Teehee~

Guernica by Pablo Picasso

This is my favorite painting.

I guess all of my friends are not aware of this since a lot of them put Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh as my favourite painting in my facebook quiz. =.="

This painting actually depicts the war in Spain, the bombing of the Basque town of Guernica by German bombers.

What really caught my eyes though about this painting is that it has hidden images.

If you look at the painting carefully, there's a human skull somewhere around the horse body and a bull appears to gore the horse from underneath.

And other than that, you can see clearly the whole chaotic situation in the painting, a woman grieving over a dead child, a dead soldier, a person screaming. All describing the war scene.

However, I'm sure my friends who took the quiz must be curious ( at least a bit la) on how other paintings listed look like, so here they are;

1) Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh,

I like the technique used.

2) The kiss by Gustav Klimt

This painting was controversial back then as it was said to be errotic. Well, generally speaking, most of his artworks are errotic.

3) Portrait with a missing ear by Vincent Van Gogh,

He cut his own ear. Sick.

4)Self-portrait by Frida Kahlo

Mr.G

That is the name of my new guitar.

Yamaha F310, not exactly the best acoustic guitar (the best, I heard is by the brand of Seagull which is very very very expensive) but for the price of Rm340, it serves more than enough :)).

The best thing about this guitar is the excellent resonance and the sound from this guitar is surprisingly good! It's great for a beginner.

P.S. Mr. G stands for Mr. G-strings. Don't call me pervert because it's not that G-string panty..it's Guitar Strings ok. Lol.
